Hello fellow beauty lovers.

Welcome back.

When I was a little girl my mom used to cut little pieces of ginger into hot water to cure a cold. I hated the taste of it because I was always expecting a sweet taste by the look of the yellow flesh. But it was extremely spicy and I couldn’t handle it at all.

Funny enough I came to love this spicy taste of the root now. I love to taste hints of it in my food or drinks. But let’s ignore the fact that it tastes incredible, the root has amazing benefits for our body, skin and soul!

The root guides us the way to a better digestion. It stimulates saliva and thus helps us to digest last night’s dinner. In addition to that it prevents bloating and flatulence. And as I already mentioned, it does have its healing benefits against colds, sore throats and even sicknesses.

The spicy root contains an anti-oxidant called Gingerol. Gingerol is the warrior that brings the glow back into our faces. It also is amazing for acne-prone skin. If you suffer from hypopigmentation, as in white scars, you should try putting small slices onto that area and you will see results after only a week.

But that’s not everything, ladies and gents: The root also stimulates the blood circulation in the scalp and thus supporting hair growth. The anti-septic effects also help preventing dandruff. Man, you can literally drink and eat yourself beautiful. Incredible, right?

Yours truly,

Lana
