Ria Keburia ist eine französische Designerin. Mit dem Studium in Paris war sie natürlich sofort am Puls der Zeit, was zumindest Mode betrifft. Die erste Kollektion, die auf der Webseite „Not Just a Label – nicht bloß eine Marke“ gezeigt wird, ist sogar noch ihre Abschlusskollektion von der IFA.
Die somit älteste Kollektion nennt sich „Risk If You Dare“, was so viel heißt wie: „Riskiere es, falls du dich traust!“. Die Kollektion ist auch dementsprechend provokant ausgefallen. Sie thematisiert die Kunst auf der Straße, das Graffiti, direkt auf ihren eigenen Stücken. Dabei ziehen sich die Schriftzüge und Symbole Pink auf Schwarz über die Kleidungsstücke.
Mit der zweiten Kollektion „Moral Issue – Gewissensfrage“ thematisiert die Designerin die moralischen Grundsätze der modernen Frau. Sie analysiert die Richtlinien und Vorstellungen der Frauen in Georgien und lässt diese ihre Kollektion führen. Was dabei herauskam, ist mehr oder weniger absurd. Sehr viel Asymmetrie und skurrile Details zeigen womöglich auch den Gegensatz von Vorstellung und Realität.
Die dritte Linie nennt sich „Revival – Wiedererwachen“. Damit meint Ria Keburia den Weg der Menschen zurück zur Spiritualität. Dem Materialismus wird der Rücken gekehrt und die geistige Führung wird wieder als Zuflucht aufgesucht. Die Designerin ließ sich von der Erleuchtung inspirieren und integrierte sie auch gleich mit in die Kollektion ein. Wie ein Hoffnungsschimmer glänzen nämlich die goldigen Vierecke, umrahmt von all dem Schwarz.
Ria Keburia ist zu Recht „Nicht bloß eine Marke“. Sie widmet ihre Kollektionen ernsten Themen und gibt damit Anstöße. Die Mode, die dabei herauskommt, macht auch wirklich aufmerksam. Mit auffälligen und auch wuchtigen Formen und schwungvollen Details schafft die Designerin außergewöhnliche Kunstwerke.

Ria Keburia is a French designer who studied in Paris, one of the biggest and most influencing fashion cities. Her first collection which is presented on the website “Not Just a Label” is simultaneously also her final collection for the IFA.
This oldest and first collection was named “Risk If You Dare” and has some really provocative creations. The main theme is the street art and graffiti. They are integrated into her designs. In doing so, she melts in the letterings and black and pink symbols over the clothes.
With her second collection “Moral Issue” she talks about the moral principles of modern women. She analyzes the guidelines and imaginations of the women in Georgia, and reproduces them in her collection. The result is more or less absurd. A lot of asymmetry and unusual details demonstrate the contrast between imagination and reality.
The third line is called “Revival”. In this line Ria Keburia mirrors the human beings’ way to get back to spirituality. The materialism is thrown away while the spiritual conduct comes back. The designer was inspired by this epiphany, which she also intalled into the collection. Thus, the golden squares you can find on some of the creations shine like a dawn of hope.
Ria Keburia is not only a brand. This label dedicates itself to serious topics and motivates us to become active. The resulting fashion is truly attracting attention. Keburia succeeds in creating exceptional art works with the help of voluminous and dynamic details.
