In der ready-to-wear Kollektion von Tony Yaacoub muss nicht mehr alles glitzern und glänzen, wie bei seiner Haute Couture Linie, doch bleiben die Kleider asymmetrisch und einfach etwas Besonderes.
Ein langes, violettes Kleid fließt den Körper entlang schwer zum Boden. Um die Taille ist ein schmales Band als Gürtel angebracht. Die eine Seite führt wie ein gewöhnliches Tank Top über die Brust und Schulter. Auf der anderen Seite geht das Kleid jedoch in eine dunkelviolette Jacke über. Der Ärmel ist lang und es scheint, als würde ein Kragen abstehen. Der Jackenteil allgemein ist floral bestickt und verziert.
Eine ähnliche Asymmetrie zeigt sich bei einem weiteren bodenlangen Kleid. Dieses ist feurig rot und führt bloß über eine Schulter. Dort sind gleich drei kurze Ärmel übereinander angebracht. Sie sind an den Rändern schwarz verziert und stehen etwas ab. Auch der Gürtel um die Taille ist hier wieder integriert. Über die Vorderseite sind zwei große Cut-Outs schräg platziert, welche aussehen, als hätte sie ein wilder Tiger eingerissen.
Ähnlich zeigt sich ein kurzes, schwarzes Kleid, wo ein Ärmel zu fehlen scheint. Während auf der einen Seite der Ärmel lang ist und sogar in einen Rollkragen führt, ist auf der anderen Seite bis zur Brust Haut zu sehen.
Tony Yaacoub präsentiert wirklich ausgefeilte Mode. Mit viel Raffinesse und Asymmetrie erzeugt er mit seinen Modellen stets einen kleinen Überraschungsmoment und verleitet dazu, genauer hinzusehen.

In the ready-to-wear collection by Tony Yaacoub the designs don’t sparkle and glisten as much as in his haute couture line. However, the asymmetric cuts, a signature feature of the designer, remain and turn the pieces into something very special.
A long, violet dress seems to flow like water from the torso to the floor. Around the waist, a narrow band is attached as a belt. The dress is, of course, asymmetric. One side looks like a tank-top covering the chest and the shoulder, while the other side the dress seems to segue into a dark violet jacket. The sleeve is long and it seems as if the collar is somewhat prominent and protruding. The jacket part in general is florally embroidered and decorated.
A similar asymmetrical cut can be found in another floor-length dress which is fiery and red and only covers one shoulder. Three layers of valances are placed on top of each other to hide the shoulder discreetly. The edges of the valances are black. The belt around the waist once again is present. At the front side, two big cut-outs are placed diagonally, which look as if a tiger has dug its claws into the fabric.
Another short and black dress with only one sleeve looks similar. While one side has a long sleeve which leads to a turtle neck, the other side is revealed up to the chest.
Tony Yaacoub really presents sophisticated fashion. With a lot of ingenuity in the form of asymmetric cuts, he fascinates and impresses us with his models. He constantly surprises us, forcing us to take another look to grasp the vast beauty of his models.
