Kaum zu glauben, was alles in einem kleinen New Yorker Apartment entsteht. Die Schweizerin Nina Egli stellt nämlich genau da ihren Schmuck her. Von Liebe, über Tiere und Chaos, bis in die tiefen Weiten des Meeres wird man von dem Label geführt. Man kann sich auf der Internetseite durch 13 verschiedene Kollektionen klicken und findet in jeder eine neue Überraschung.
„Dream of Jeannie“ ist ganz oben in der Liste. Mit der Kollektion wechselt man erst mal den Planeten. Tschüss Erde – hallo Mond. Kleine Sterne hängen an Mondsicheln oder Perlen reihen sich um Herzen. Blau, rosa und perlweiß ist die Linie und wirkt süß, als wäre sie von Kinderhand gemacht worden.
Ein paar Themen überspringend, führt die Reise weiter ins „Animal Kingdom“. Der Leitwolf wird von Eulen, Pferden und einem Adler begleitet. Die Tiere sind silbern, bronzefarben oder goldig und werden mit blauen oder orangen Perlen umgeben. Wie bei der vorigen Kollektion gibt es Halsketten und Ohrringe, wobei selbst die Wölfe Ohrringe tragen.
Bei der Kollektion „Helter Skelter“ zeigt das Label, dass es auch mit instabilen Materialien arbeiten kann, indem Federn verwendet werden. „Toujours Toi“ ist aber nicht bloß die Materialien betreffen vielseitig, auch die Themen, welche in dem filigranen Schmuck verarbeitet werden, sind breit gefächert. Bei der Auswahl, sollte doch jeder fündig werden.

„Dream of Jeannie“ is at the very top of the list. With this collection you change planets for the first times. Goodbye earth – Why hello there moon! Little stars hang on moon sickles or pearls line up to form a heart. Blue, pink and pearl white is the line’s color scheme and seems so cute, that it could have been made by a child.
Skipping a few themes, the journey continues into the “Animal Kingdom”. The alpha wolf is followed by owls, horses and an eagle. The animals are silver, bronze or gold colored and are surrounded by blue and orange pearls. Similar to the previous collection, there are also necklaces and earrings, in which even the wolves wear earrings.
With the collection “Helter Skelter” the label shows that you can also work with fragile materials, in which feathers are used. “Toujours Toi” is not only versatile in terms of materials, but also in terms of themes, which are worked into the delicate jewelry.
