Das legendäre Modehaus Chanel kennt wohl jeder. Besonders berühmt ist das Label wohl für die kleine, schwarze Jacke und das Verwenden von Tweed. Chanel ist sich auch dieses Jahr wieder treu geblieben und beginnt die Haute-Couture-Kollektion für den Herbst und Winter 2013 mit verschiedenen Tweedjacken. Dabei halten sie sich nicht an eine Form oder eine Farbe, sondern mischen sie frech und frei und bunt durcheinander.
Mal zeigt sich der Tweed blau, rosa, grau und manchmal sogar grün. Die Längen der Tweedjacken variieren von Hüftlang bis hinunter zu den Knöcheln, wobei sich langsam aber sicher das fest gewobene Material auflöst und immer lockerer wird, als hätte man den Stoff aus Fetzen selbst gewoben. Auch gesellen sich von Mal zu Mal immer mehr Verzierungen in Form von Steinen hinzu, bis das Kleidungsstück praktisch bloß noch daraus besteht. Beispielhaft dafür ist ein langer, schwarzer Mantel mit passendem Kleid darunter.
Ein kurzer, schwingender und voluminöser Rock, welcher mit einem breiten, schwarzen Gürtel um die Hüfte befestigt wird, ist ebenfalls mit Edelsteinen besetzt. Er ist mit einem schwarzen Longsleeve kombiniert und komplett bedeckt mit silbrigen Applikationen. Die kleinen Stifte und Steine verleihen dem Look eine edle Note. Chanel zeigt sich wie eh und je klassisch und schick. Doch wird in der neuen Haute-Couture-Kollektion auch bewiesen, dass das Label in Bezug auf Verzierungen keine Mühen scheut.

The legendary fashion label Chanel is probably known by anyone. However, there is one item which bestowed a lot of fame upon this label: the black jacket made of tweed. Chanel is staying true to itself this year, presenting several tweed jackets in the haute couture collection for fall and winter 2014. The jacket designs don’t particularly follow one shape or color concept. Instead, they impress with a lot of diversity being cheeky, colorful and sometimes appearing a bit chaotic.
Sometimes, the tweed is colored in blue, rose and grey and other times it’s even green. The lengths of the tweed jackets vary as well, from hip-length to ankle-length. Noentheless, the material always seems to be looseedn up and dissipating, becoming mere rags at the seams. Here and there, embellishments in the shape of stones have been added. But there are also pieces of clothinv which are completely made of these decorative stones. One long and black coat with a matching dress underneath represents this style perfectly.
A black, swinging and voluminous skirt which is tightened around the waist with a black belt is embellished with precious stones as well. It is combined with a black longsleeve and completely covered with silvery applications. The small stones give this look an extremely noble touch. Chanel once again succeeds in presenting itself in an absolutely classy and chic way. However, Chanel also shows that it wasn’t afraid of making use of details in the haute couture collection.
