Lady Gaga and Paloma Faith are only two of his most famous patrons. The Serbian designer is visibly large in business. He is now also part of the Belgrade Fashion Week in Serbia which takes place in April. There, he will definitely once again show his talent for detailed, intricate designs. His rather dark, theatrical style appears to relate to inspirations from past ages such as the Victorian age. Frills, collars and voluminous forms are only some of the vintage-inspired details that constitute the style. And this is only one of the many facets of Marko Mitanovski’s creations. In combination with elaborate draping that stretches over the entire dresses as details, a fairytale-like, grim look which reminds me of dolls as much as gothic chic is created.
