Today I would like to introduce an extremely extraordinary label to you which will participate in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo in March, 2015. Tenbo  – this special brand is pursuing the concept of universal design, e.g. clothing which is made for anyone. Tenbo wants to create fashion without limits, meaning that handicapped people are given the chance to express themselves with the fashion by this innovative fashion label, too.

For this purpose, the designer Takafumi Tsuneruta developed a collection given the name “Universal DesignY”, which is particularly devoted to people with different handicaps, but still can be worn by people who generally place value on a stylish look. I am really fascinated by the sophistication of the designs which were made for people who are bound to a wheelchair or who only have one arm. This special dedication towards handicapped people makes this brand absolutely unique and special. For this reason, we can also discover beautiful pieces for pregnant women or clothing decorated and refined with Braille printing here.

Female wheelchair users can look forward to a breathtaking wedding dress which will even look glamorous when you are bound to a wheelchair. The décolleté is embellished with a romantic rose which can be found in the wheelchair, too. In contrast, the casual outfit for wheelchair users includes a pocket for your smartphone and also involves a matching rucksack.

I particularly like the dress for women with one arm which is presented in a trendy oversize look. This is minimalism at its best which is only broken through by one single sophisticated bow placed on the lacking sleeve. Jumpsuits, dresses, bags and tights adorned with prints made of Braille printing are in no way less fascinating either.
