The Greenshowroom is presenting green fashion for the next winter

The Salonshow is a runway show for eco-friendly and green collections as an off-site event of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Eco Fashion Goes Op Art” is the motto and message of the Greenshowroom in January. With graphical patterns, innovative textures, draperies and the matching accessories, the Greenshowroom is showcasing the trends for the fall and winter 2015/2016. For the eleventh time, the tradeshow for quality fashion will be taking place in the Postbahnhof in Berlin, sharing the location with the Ethical Fashion Show. 165 labels that produce and sell sustainable fashion will be exhibiting their fashion there. Highlight of this green fashion spectacle is the Salonshow which is too taking place in the Postbahnhof as an off-site event of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. Together with the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin, the Greenshowroom is considered the biggest platform for ecologically and ethically produced fashion in Europe.

“ The decision to move the event to the Postbahnhof and the collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Show lets the two leading fairs for sustainable fashion form even closer bonds, which can lead to a rising popularity and attractiveness amongst visitors and exhibitors”, explained Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies of the Messe Frankfurt, the organizer of this event. “In terms of fashion, the new power duo proves that eco fashion does not stand second to ordinary fashion. The complete spectrum ranging from casual wear to high fashion is now united in one place and is forming an excellent platform for retailers of green concept stores and conventional fashion traders interested in green fashion,” Schmidt says further.
