Do you remember the label for statement jewelry called “I STILL LOVE YOU NYC” (ISLYNYC)? I have to admit that even the abbreviation is still way too long, but the name sticks in your head like the designs of the pieces engrave themselves into our retina. The fashion label DKNY has collaborated with ISLYNYC for the Fashion Week NY (02/06-02/13). Wow, what a letter salad! But I promise, the looks are better than the confusing names!
The collection of Donna Karan is very feminine as usual. It is also marked by a classy and boyish touch. Most of the outfits are held in a black and grey shade and stand out with silver, shimmery highlights including the collar. ISLYNYC provided the patches which are worn on the lapel. Since their past collection had already impressed with their hip, trashy and big letters and their creativity, I needed to find out more.
