Behind the label Peter Pilotto stands the eponymous designer and his partner Christopher De Vos. The duo met back in 2000 during their studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Their work can be distinguished by their sculpture-like, elegant silhouettes and the always perfectly placed prints. Especially now for the colorful F/W collection of 2014 the prints are extremely palpable. Although the season is anything else but bright and colorful, the label still involves lively shades into the designs, which blossom within geometric prints. And this little fact right there is the reason why the pieces by Peter Pilotto aren’t just clothing items but individual statement pieces that belong into every closet out there.

Not only are the colorful prints real eye catchers but they also bring in a much needed depth to the forms of the various silhouettes. For instance, the contrasts between light and dark hues really flatter the feminine body. As for the pre-spring collection of 2015, we’re given an explosion of colors. A light interaction between dark blue shades with rosé, pastel and summery versions of red, orange and yellow highlights the overall elegance of the collection. The summer robes were made of high-quality materials ranging from light fabric to delicate silk. Waisted dresses and different kinds of jumpers are playful and colorful, bold and individual, many of them can be even found in a snakeskin pattern.

The manner in which the beautiful prints were combined with the flowing and striking silhouettes is the reason why Peter Pilotto is seen as one of the leading fashion brands for true Fashionistas with character. The label was also part of the London Fashion Week to allow you to be part of their world.
