Hang before the injections

Hello fellow beauty lovers.
Hang Mioku is a former Korean model and her story is terrifying and incredibly sad. At a young age of 28 the once beautiful Asian girl had her first cosmetic surgery. Little by little she was lulled into the world of “flawless beauty” like so many before her. All Hang wanted and apparently “needed” was a youthful skin. But after repeated injections and treatments her face couldn’t take it anymore and began to enlarge itself so much that the doctors simply refused to take her in.
Local kids in her neighbourhood called her “standing fan” because her face was so much larger than her tiny, fragile body.
But it didn’t stop her from desperately chasing perfection. She got herself a tube of silicon on the black market and began to inject her own face with it at home. After having used up all of it she moved over to cooking oil. Her face was extremely swollen and scarred by now, so much that even her parents didn’t recognize her.
Today after finally “waking up” and numerous surgeries, mainly paid through donations, Hang’s still not anywhere near her former face. The dangerous chemicals in her face were removed but her face remains scarred and swollen. It is horrible how far people would go for the “perfect” outer appearance.
