Lee Khoon Hooi is the man behind the eponymous label, which mixes Avant-garde with sexy looks. After graduating in 1993 from the Institute of Arts in Malaysia he started to collect practical experiences in the fashion world at a multitude of brands. In 1999 he founded his very own first label. Thank god because no one in the world of fashion would want to make do without him.
This is the reason why I am over the moon because I have the honor to tell you, that he will be at this year’s Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week. His much anticipated show will take place on June 21st at 7pm. You are in luck if you could snatch a ticket. In the upcoming fall and winter collection you can expect a dark range of colors with violet and blue highlights.
The motto is: Elegant knits because big skirts, maxi dresses and boxy jacket were made out of cozy knits, perfect for fall. Lee shows the world that with the right technique as well as cheeky details knits can look incredibly exciting. Elegant and yet simple cuts look extremely luxurious and are combined with an urban casualty. This is truly a look that was made to be catchy.
The monochrome fabric is rarely seen paired with prints but he did it. And he succeeded because the overall collection has a touch of glamour in every little fiber.
