One year, three collections and one label – Nurita Harith. The amazingly talented designer presented three collections in 2014: a luxury collection, a Ready-To-Wear collection and a bridal collection. To quote the brands’ own words: The style and craftsmanship is feminine with a boyish touch. I can whole-heartedly say that you should not miss the elegant outfits on the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week on June 19 at 7pm.

Let’s start off with the luxury line, shall we? This collection shows off glamorous patterns, a lot of details and optimal color gradients. Floor-length skirts were matched to fitted shirts and elegant gowns and win us over due to their sexy silhouettes. You can see natural hue’s all through the collection, which are occasionally completed by floral patterns or botanic embroideries. All those little details contribute to a rounded up look and highlights the soft, feminine style of the brand.

The bridal collection sports your typical white layout but on second look you’ll see that there’s nothing classic about it. The equivalent to an exaggerated wedding gown has clear cuts or presents a combination out of a skirt and a bodice. You will also find loving accents like embroideries, draperies, elegant gathers, ruffles, lace, trains, waist belts and glittering elements in the collection. Those are probably the exact things a woman would want in her closet.

Last but not least, let’s focus on the ready-to-wear collection, in which elements from the first, more glamorous line were incorporated. Floor-length robes are again a big part of the collection. They were matched with formfitting tops but the difference is the use of colorful prints and bright tones. A touch of “Hippie” is presented by including loose, printed tops and this fact transforms the whole collection into the absolute dream summer collection.
