Oh, China – you’re indeed the land of the living curiosities. The one-child policy resulted in multiple households yearning for company. And what’s the perfect remedy for a lonely heart? You guessed it, a puppy! And because a standard dog wouldn’t be enough and due to a busy schedule of the owners they want a special dog: Panda Chow-Chows.
Chow-Chows are a special breed of dogs which kind of look like a hybrid between a bear and a lion. Super cute. But the Chinese take this cuteness to the top. The new trend: Chow-chows that undergo cosmetic procedures conducted by their breeder Hsin Ch’en to look like little pandas. Panda dogs are incredibly popular and therefore are in high demand. I may not know whether the doggies like this. But one thing is for sure. I wouldn’t want permanent dark circles under my eyes.
