Prahsik is a Canadian fashion label founded by Janis Procyk in 2014. The label has a Ready-To-Wear collection but also dedicates a good amount of its time to the special needs of certain customers and therefore designs custom-made clothing.
The base for the label is formed by the inspiring image of independent, striving and hard-working women. The cuts are figure-hugging, the colors are bold and the lines are clear, which lets the look appear really elegant. The flattering designs and the lack of flashy details aim to reach out and appeal to working ladies.
The very first collection was designed in Fall/Winter 2014 and proudly presented on the Saskatchewan Fashion Week. It was a manageable collection that mirrored the identity of the label. The designs were a combination of business attire with a touch of sex appeal, basically a mixture of the bedroom and the office. That fact also shows in the choice of colors. The designer kept it simple by picking out colors like gray and black, which makes the designs perfectly fine for the office. The detailing, however, can transform the whole look into something completely different. Take the long, gray jumpsuit for instance: it sports a really plunging neckline. That screams sex appeal while still looking sophisticated.
