The “Demi Couture“ Collection for the summer proves that the layer look indeed is beautiful. Almost each and every dress by Vionnet is marked by this sophisticated stylistic device. Often, several layers of the same fabric are used. But there are also layers of different materials placed atop of each other. In this way, amazing pieces are created. Cuts, fabrics, colors – the entire design is exciting, different and harmonic.
Thanks to the different layers and fabrics, each model will be full of surprises. Depending on the perspective from which you look at the items, they will present themselves in different lights. Transparent and revealing areas on the one hand and opaque fabrics on the other hand define the items. The asymmetric cuts additionally add excitement to the designs. I personally like the employment of several colors within one creation.
I personally find the dresses made of transparent fabric the most breathtaking pieces in the collection, which let the skin of the wearer shine through. The dresses appear incredibly delicate, almost fairy-like. The color concept ranging from black-and-white contrast to orange shows multiple facets as well. The collection draws you under its spell at first glance and can barely be outclassed in terms of feminine beauty.
