Well, summer is around the corner. The skirts are getting shorter and all the girls out there start emphasizing their sexy curves. The swimwear label Sin on the Beach creates swim wear à la 40ies retro style with some innovative designs which are yet marked by a touch of irony.
We came across this label when we did some research on the Riga Fashion Weekand discovered the latest collection for the spring and summer 2014 of this brand which it presented last year during this fashion spectacle. The bizarre combination of a T-Rex head and the romantic roses seems so surreal that you have to look twice to make sure that your eyes don’t fool you.
“Swimwear for Beautiful Sinners”, the brand indeed calls their target group beautiful sinners because these designs are truly sinful. Since the retro design and the preference to cover the body in the 40ies require bathing suits instead of bikinis, the girls in the photos don’t look that naughty after all, do they? In addition, they are wearing a headscarf which gives them a very preppy touch.
The prints on the bathing suits however are sinfully beautiful. But they are definitely worth it.
