Sin on the Beach

Hailed by some for a long time as an accessory, yet unfortunately misunderstood by others, the headscarf makes a comeback this year with the designers. In the 60s, it was THE must-have for ladies who cannot distance themselves from fashionista. Then came hats, caps and beanies which took the place from the headscarf as the most important accessory – only until now, as whoever wants to start 2015 in style has to return to the elegant headdress.

This has many advantages, because not only do you get them in numerous variations and therefore fit it perfectly to your outfit, you can even, through the use of various wrapping techniques, modify the look to your liking. Slung around the head casual in the day, nobly knotted in the evening, it is possibly the most refined accessory for the summer.

Even top designer Simone Rocha introduces the headscarf again – to be seen in the summer collection 2015. Adapted to the graceful combination of embroidery, lace and transparency, the headscarf completes some of the look. Almost provocatively, the models on the catwalk show front-wrapped variations that sometimes even cover the entire face – not a problem, as the transparency of the tulle lets us see through it. Now, do you see what you can do with the headscarves?!

A name must be mentioned here in any case: Cléo Ferin! The Londoner designer creates silk accessories – colourfully decorated cloth with elegant attitudes. What they had shown us last summer, has always been thought of as headscarves. Her joyful, summery prints makes you want to bear the headscarf-look. Even Cléo has shown us the diversity of this and wrapped the headscarf in turban-style or elegantly around the head.

With Sin on the Beach, the headscarf is indispensable, because only with it can the beach outfit be perfected. As one of the few accessories that can be worn on the beach, it is presented, for example, in transparent neon-colours. Playfully tied under the chin, it completes the retro-design of the swimwear.

If you no longer want to do without the headgear that does it all, then what are you waiting for? Go get yourselves a personal headscarf!
