 Hello my fellow beauty lovers,

Back in January, whilst I was visiting London, one of my favorite places in the world , I stopped by at Lush at Piccadilly Circus to splurge on some Lush products. Their prices over there are much more reasonable than over here, so I thought: “Treat yourself.”

I’ve heard tons of reviews about this “fresh” Cupcake face mask by Lush from my much adored beauty gurus online so I knew that I had to get my hands on this baby. This is supposed to do small miracles whenever you have one of those days where your hormone imbalance just drives you crazy and your skin acts out.

Cupcake was designed for olier and more acne-prone skin.

According to the label, Rhassoul mud cleanses and soothes the skin, while the cocoa butter and several other ingredients help to soften it. Also, the cocoa is the ingredient you will smell through the layers. Several essential oils will complete the whole spa experience.

Apply the fresh mask on clean skin, whilst making sure to spare the eye area. Leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes (I leave mine for at least 10) and rinse it off with luke warm water.

The most important fact about the mask is that this is indeed a mask with really fresh ingredients, which is why you need to store this one in the fridge and use it up within 3 weeks. It retails for 10.45€ in Germany.

I am a huge fan of the fresh masks at Lush. They feel incredibly cool on the skin and soothe it when it decides to act out. I have really oily skin, which consequently leads to blemishes and nasty breakouts. Whenever I feel a zit coming up I head to my fridge and apply my Cupcake mask and my skin will calm down.  It’s definitely a HOT product and I highly recommend it.

Yours truly,

Lana Hoang
