Andrew Whyte actually is an ordinary photographer from Bristol, England. But he does have a knack for choosing interesting motifs. In addition he works with long exposure times in order to achieve a beautiful color scheme and light effects in his photos. His works mostly are created in the night, which Andrew loves.

However, his photos series is something really special. In his probably most innovative photo series, which he calls “Legography”, he followed a Lego man around the world for 365 days in order to take photos with this little plastic figure in beautiful places.

The photos are always taken from the perspective of the follower, showing the Lego manikin during his holiday adventures. No matter whether the photos are taken in cities, whether they are presenting the manikin during his climbing sessions on trees and benches, this little guy seems to be alive. Sunsets and palm landscapes or a dangerous beach crap – the Lego manikin indeed went through a lot of thrilling experiences.  His story is told in capturing photos taken by Andrew Whyte. These photos don’t only show us the vastness of this world, but let us feel nostalgic. We all used to play with Lego, right?
