Obama’s drone strike resulted in a disastrous devastation which particularly affected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a Pakistani province. Sitting in front of computer screens, the military kills humans by easily using drones. And they are not killing soldiers or terrorists. No! Children, women and men who have nothing to do with war and terror are killed as if they were insects.
This is why a Pakistani group of artists has brought the project #NotABugSplat into life. They spread giant posters all over the region. These posters show the victims of the drone strikes. They want to appeal to the soldier’s mind who will watch the drone’s surroundings from their screens. They want to show that humans were killed due to the use of drones that were often children.Â
