Styling tip fashion and beauty 2014 | Abury Bast Clutch Special

As a little girl who loves cheesy and girly stuff, I can’t miss out on colorful clutches! Sequins, wool, bast fibre, yarn and the inner lining is made of soft cloth, so you don’t even know where to look first. It consists of the colors blue, blood red, pink, has shimmering reflections, yellow, beige and lots of gold.

This bast-clutch is a great example of a bag which is born to be the star of any outfit. Complementing the outfit, or highlighting the outfit? No chance, this clutch is the protagonist, catching a lot of attention. Where did you get this clutch? Well, at Abury. Usually, I would expect traditional Moroccan leather handicraft from this rather new label – you’ve seen other stuff from them before in my Styling Tips. But here, they designed an outstanding line, which also is much cheaper because they’ve been using bast. Moreover, you can take a look at various other pieces at the Abury Store in Prenzlauer Berg Berlin.

Of course, there also are discreet pieces, for example bast used with white lace, which at first doesn’t only seem unconventional, but personally also reminded me of snowflakes and a winter wonderland.
With an outstanding clutch and also my striking nail design, which was inspired by the clutches red-blue and golden mix, I wanted to hit the tip of the iceberg.

The red heart on my thumb and the dotwork on my four fingers of course is quite keen and for some of you it may be too much. Well, it could also be just gold. To achieve a great gold shade similar to the one on the clutch, I first use yellow lacquer as the prime coat, next I use gold lacquer and it’s done!
The slim-fit bikeresque jaket with a deep blue faux fur on the collar further supports the kitschy and slightly trashy character, which I really like about this look. To get the lacking toughness to the look, I wear a snake leather belt with a claw belt buckle.
