Diddo is a Dutch designer who combines conceptual design with product designs, which results in amazing artwork proclaiming more or less subtle statements. These are remarked by popular magazines like Vogue, Rolling Stone or Vice over and over again. He has many famous fans, e.g. Lady Gaga. Amazing, right?
His latest artwork ECCE ANIMAL is a very special one. What would you do, if you’d find an immense amount of cocaine? Party!!! I mean, bring it to the police of course. But Diddo decided to compress it and form it into a skull. These 20 cubic centimeters look very realistic! I don’t even want to know how much it is actually worth.
Altogether this artwork looks absolutely cool and has an accurate statement: DRUGS KILL! And I am not meaning the consumers. If they can deal with drugs, it’s their decision to do them and they’re responsible for any consequences. I mean all the people who are forced to produce cocaine: farmers who grow the plants, workers in the chemistry production sites and smugglers pressured to get it across the border.
