Ladies, eins muss ich vorneweg beichten: Ich habe mich noch nie für Uhren interessiert, weder für Frauen- noch für Männeruhren. Wartet, bevor ihr mit den Augen rollt und euch fragt, wieso ich jetzt ausgerechnet über Uhren schreiben will und wegklickt: Ich wurde eines Besseren belehrt. Mein Freund ist, wie 99% aller Männer, totaler Fan von schönen Uhren. Neben Autos sind sie die einzigen Sachen, denen er hinterher schauen darf, wenn ihr wisst, was ich meine. Als wir also letztes Wochenende durch Harrods in London gelaufen sind, wurde ich genötigt, in jedes Uhrengeschäft zu gehen, um gefühlte 17 Stunden mir die Pro und Kontras von jeweiligen Modellen anzuhören. Welch Freude!
Dieses intensive Erlebnis qualifiziert mich dazu, wie ich finde, eine HOT-Liste der schönsten Männeruhren von MARCH LA.B für euch zu erstellen. Für all diejenigen, die die Marke nicht kennen: March LA.B ist ein Schweizer Uhrenhersteller mit Sitz in Los Angeles in Californen und Biarritz in Frankreich. Das Label kombiniert den modernen Stil von L.A. mit Frankreichs Liebe zum Detail. Das Motto der Marke? Weniger ist mehr!
Die AM1 SHELBY ist mir als erstes aufgefallen. Ich liebe das klassische Design der Uhr! Die Holzoptik des Ziffernblattes sieht unglaublich roh und männlich aus, findet ihr nicht auch? Welche Frau wünscht sich nicht einen warmen und starken Kerl, der hart arbeitet und dich beschützt? Das sind genau die Eigenschaften, die die Uhr für mich ausstrahlt.
Die AM1 40mm hat ein dunkelbraunes Lederband. Ich habe mir früher nie etwas aus braunen Lederbändern gemacht. Doch, wie ich jüngst gelernt habe, sind die wohl die Rolls Royces unter den Uhrenbändern, wer hätte das gedacht? Das Zifferblatt und die Fassung sind aus einem stabilen Stahl und repräsentieren den eleganten, klassischen Gentleman mit einem Hauch von sexy Arroganz.

Ladies, a little disclaimer right here: I have never been a huge fan of watches, whether they were watches for women or when they were for men. But please, before you head out thinking “Why the hell would she write about them?”, please bear with me. I’ve been taught to think differently about that matter. My boyfriend loves his armcandy, so do 99% of the rest of the men on this planet. Timepieces – besides cars- are the only things that make his heart flutter. When we spent a whole day in Harrods, London we had to stop by every watch store present and I had to endure torture which felt like 17 hours of yapping about the pro and cons of each watch. Oh joy!
But this intense experience qualifies me to name you the hottest pieces in the collections of MARC LA.B. For all of you who don’t know MARC LA.B. They are a Swiss Watch manufacturer with their headquarters in LA, California and Biarritz, France. The label combines the modern style of LA with the eye for details of France. The motto of the brand? Less is more!
The AM1 SHELBY caught my eye from the very beginning. I absolutely fell for the classic design! I adore the Wood-like design which looks incredibly strong and manly, don’t you think? Which woman doesn’t want a warm and strong guy that works hard and knows how to protect you? That’s exactly what I expect the wearer would be like.
The AM1 40mm has a dark brown leather band. I never thought much of leather bands in general but I learned that they are like the Rolls Royce’s amongst all watch bands. Who knew? The watch consists of a steel frame and represents the elegant, classic man with a hint of sexy arrogance.
