Obwohl der Winter noch nicht mal richtig angefangen hat, freuen wir uns natürlich alle schon auf den kommenden Sommer. Endlich wieder Sonne und die damit verbundenen Glücksgefühle. Auch die Modedesigner freuen sich auf den Sommer, wie es scheint. Obwohl lange Mäntel und hochgebundene Stief sehr cool und echt stylisch wirken, kann man im Sommer ruhig etwas legerer und freundlicher auftreten. Und genau das beweist die Sommerkollektion von Francisco van Benthum. Vornehm ohne spießig zu wirken – Francisco weiß, wie man mit lockeren Formen und Schnitten ein hartes und ernstes Bild genug auflockern kann. Hawaiihemd? Cargo-Shorts? Das gibt es im Wortschatz von Francisco van Benthum nicht.
Sportliche Jacketts in hellen, freundlichen Grautönen werden durch gekürzte oder luftige Anzughosen erweitert und bringen ein frisches und abwechslungsreiches Bild mit sich. Man benötigt nur noch ein Hemd mit einem dezenten Design zum Darunterziehen und schon kann man leger aber stilvoll den Tag an der Promenade verbringen. Diese tragen aber nicht zu dick auf und man kann sie auch im kommenden Frühjahr, ja sogar teilweise im Sommer tragen, da der Stoff sehr dünn ist.

Fashion designers love summer as well or so it seems. Although long coats and boots indeed are very cool and always appear stylish, I still miss the casual and light fashion worn in summer. Friendly and light fashion – this is what Francisco van Benthum is presenting in his summer collection. Noble and yet without appearing bourgeois – he knows how to ease a serious and stern style with loose cuts. Hawaii shirt? Cargo shorts? These pieces of clothing don’t exist in the Francisco van Benthum’s vocabulary.
Sport coats in bright and friendly grey nuances are combined with shortened and cool suit pants, marked by a fresh and juvenile character.
