Das Modelabel Milly NY wurde von der amerikanischen Designerin Michelle Smith gegründet. Bevor sie im Jahr 2001 ihre eigene Marke gründete, hat Michelle schon viele Erfahrungen in der Modewelt gesammelt, unter anderem durch Praktika bei Dior oder Louis Vuitton. Die Designerin wusste schon sehr früh, dass eigene Mode zu designen ihr Ziel ist und hat sich mit ihrem Label einen Traum erfüllt.
In ihren Kollektionen mischt sie sportliche Lässigkeit mit Eleganz und erschafft Jahr für Jahr neue, umwerfende Kollektionen.
Für den Frühling 2014 liegt der Fokus ihrer Kollektion auf coolen Netzstoffen und bunten Prints. Leichte Röcke, Oberteile und Jacken in Schwarz oder Weiß sind komplett aus dem Netzstoff, so dass fast immer die Haut der Trägerin durchscheint. Gemischt mit blickdichtem Stoff entstehen dabei coole Looks für echte Power-Frauen. Es gibt einen weißen Rock, bei dem die Designerin nur an der Seite mit der Netzoptik gearbeitet hat. Ein hautenges Kleid ist dagegen komplett aus dem außergewöhnlichen Stoff, genauso wie eine Reihe an sportlichen Jacken.
Viele Oberteile sind blickdicht, dafür aber sehr kurz, so dass der Bauch der Trägerin zu sehen ist. Das ergänzt sich optimal zu den hoch geschnittenen Röcken. Neben den Designs aus Netzstoffen sind vor allem die bunten Prints ein echter Hingucker. Egal ob ein Papagei oder bunte Blumen, welche Röcke oder Oberteile aber auch Badeanzüge zieren, sind die Prints ein Muss für die kommende Saison!

Fashion label Milly NY was founded by the American designer Michelle Smith. Prior to creating her own label in 2001, she collected lots of experience in the fashion world – for example apprenticeships at Dior and Louis Vuitton. The designer knew early on that designing is her main goal and with her own label she made her dream come true.
In her collections she makes sportive casual garments with elegance and makes new collections every year.
For Spring 2014 her collection focuses on cool net cloths and colorful prints. Light skirts, tops and jackets in black or white are completely made of net cloth so the skin of the wearer always nicely peeks through the clothing. Mixed with opaque cloth cool looks are born for real power-women. There is a white skirt where the designer worked with net style on the sides. A skin-tight dress is completely made of the extraordinary cloth, just like a whole range of sportive jackets.
Many of the tops are opaque, but also very short so that the stomach of the wearer can be seen. This perfectly completes the look with a high cut skirt. Among the designs made of net cloth especially the colorful prints are a real eye catcher. It doesn’t matter if it is a parrot or colorful flowers print on the skirts, tops and also bath suits – These prints are a must have for the coming season!
