Die Farbpalette reicht dabei von Schwarz, über Blau bis Rot-Orange und wird vom Designer immer passend kombiniert.
Im Poncho-Wintermantel wird ein kräftiges Rot unter den schwarzen Brusttaschen entflammt und bedeckt die ganze Vorderseite, während vom Rückenteil aus Schwarz übergreift und den Ärmeln entlang auch nach vorne getragen wird. Diese sind nämlich, ähnlich wie die Segel von Flughörnchen, bis in den Saum verlängert.
Ein kurzes Kleid weißt wiederum die herkömmliche Kombination von Schwarz und Weiß in einem Schottenmuster auf. Es beginnt, sich kurz vor den Knien eng den Weg bis zur Taille durchzuschlagen, wo ein Gürtel diese betont. Wie auch bei den echten Schotten ist auch hier eine kleine Tasche über dem Unterleib angedeutet. Diese führt weiter bis auf Brusthöhe, wo eine Bahn an Rüschen platziert ist. Der Einsatz zeigt eine typisch weibliche Figur und betont diese damit auch bei der Trägerin. Über die linke Schulter führt der Wollstoff dann auf die Rückseite und lässt ihn steif über die Schulter hervorstehen.
JC de Castelbajac setzt Trends für die ganze Welt, wo man einfach froh wäre, wenn sie kopiert werden würden, um sie der allgemeinen Masse zugänglich zu machen, welche keine 800€ für ein Kleid ausgeben kann.

JC de Castelbajac shows how avant-garde fashion is supposed to look like. His silhouettes are new; the details are many and unusual. JC de Castelbajac shows new and also wearable fashion in trendy colors and materials. The color range reaches from black, over to blue and red-orange and is now always combined by the designer to fit together.
In the poncho winter coat a flashy red is kindled below the black chest pockets and covers the whole front, while the back is mainly black as well as the sleeves. These are, similar to the wings of a flying squirrel, extended to the seam.
On the other hand a short dress shows the usual combinations of black and white in a Scottish pattern. It starts right before the knees and is tight and goes up to the waist, which is accentuated with a belt. Just like the real Scots, there’s also a little pocket above the abdomen hinted. This pocket goes up to chest height, where a track of frills is applied. The insert shows a typically female silhouette and also accentuates it. Along the left shoulder goes a patch of wool cloth to the pack and lets it stand stiff over the shoulder.
JC de Castelbajac is setting trends for the whole world, where you would be happy if they would be copied to make them available for the masses, which can’t spend €800 on a dress.
