„Business trifft auf Militär.“ Diors neue Männer-Couture Linie für diesen Winter 2013/14 beinhaltet ein Yin und Yang aus eleganten Business Looks und starken Militär-Elementen. Die Kollektion besteht aus kompletten Anzügen im typischen, klar strukturierten Dior Stil. Das Design ist sehr simpel und schick, ohne zu viele unruhige Muster. Dieser Look wird mit Militär-Stil Elementen kombiniert, die mehr Kraft und Selbstbewusstsein zum Outfit bringen. Lange Mäntel können mit den typischen Doppelknopfreihen geschlossen werden und inkludieren Schnallengürtel, die die männliche Taille akzentuieren während die Farben, die genutzt werden, teilweise einen kompletten Kontrast zum Kollektionsthema bringen. Neben vielen dunklen Kombinationen aus Schwarz und Grau, lassen Mäntel und Jacken in klarem Weiß und dunklem Blau die Kreationen jünger aussehen und geben einen Tick Frische dazu. Einige der Outfits könnten aufgrund der Kreis- und Dreiecksformen aus roten Linien ein bisschen Science-Fiction erscheinen. Dieser futuristisch ähnliche Look wird in der Sommerkollektion 2014 weitergeführt. Jedoch ist der Schnitt diesmal eher locker und hart gehalten und verschmilzt mit geometrisch-eckigen Mustern. Diese werden mit Colourblock-Kombinationen in verschiedenen Blau-Nuancen hervorgehoben. Leder-Outfits in Schwarz und Weinrot erinnern etwas an Science-Fiction Filme. Besonders für den warmen, heißen Sommer wurden Shorts-Anzüge, die hauptsächlich in einer Farbfamilie gehalten sind, kreiert.

‚Business meets military.’ Dior’s new menswear couture line for this winter 2013/14 contains a ying and yang of elegant business looks and strong military elements. The collection consists of whole suits in a typical clear structured Dior style. The design is very simple and chic without too much disturbing patterns. This look is combined with some military style elements that add more strength and confidence to the outfit. Long coats can be closed by the typical doubled button rows and include buckle belts which contour the man’s waist while the colours which are used put partially a complete contrast to the collections theme. Beside a lot of dark black and grey combinations, coats and jackets in clear whites and dark blue let the creations look younger and add a sense of freshness. Some of the outfits might appear a little science-fiction because of the circle and triangle prints in red lines. This gives an overall of futuristic inspired styles. http://www.dior.com
The kind of futuristic look is continued in collection for next year’s summer. However, this time the cut is kept in a more casual, harsh way, melting in with geometrical square prints. These are emphasized by colourblocking combinations in different blue nuances. Leather outfits in black and wine red remind of some science fiction movies. Especially for the warm and hot summer time, outfits include short pant-suits which are basically kept in one colour family.
