Mit den Instinct Hi Plaid Sneakers hat Adidas-Stardesigner Jeremy Scott einen echten Clou gelandet. Nachdem die Adidas Mastermind Oldschool Sneakers eine Design-Offensive starteten, kontert Scott, der ohnehin schon für verrückte Designs bekannt ist, mit dem Adidas Hi Plaid Sneakers im coolen Tartan-Muster. So gibt es endlich einen Schuh, der auch zu einem traditionellen Kilt passt. Wahrscheinlich würde sogar Braveheart William Wallace oder der Highlander diese Schuhe tragen, eine coole Vorstellung ist es auf jeden Fall.
Dass man einen Sneaker im Tartan-Look macht ist nichts Neues, dass ein Sneaker im Tartan-Look so modisch und edel wirkt wie der Adidas Hi Plaid, ist selten. Das Jahrhunderte alte Muster der Schotten braucht kreative Hände, damit es noch tragbar bleibt.

Adidas star-designer Jeremy Scott really set a move with his Instinct Hi Plaid Sneakers. After the Mastermind Oldschool Sneakers initiated a design-offensive, Scott comes back, who’s already known for his crazy designs, with the Adidas Hi Plaid Sneakers in the cool tartan pattern. So there are finally shoes which match with a traditional kilt. Probably even Braveheart William Wallace or the Highlander would wear those shoes – that’s a great illusion at least.
There’s nothing new about sneakers in tartan-look. It’s a seldom occurrence for sneakers to be as stylish and noble as the Adidas Hi Plaids. This century-old pattern of Scottish needs creative hands to keep them sustainable.
