An den meisten Kleidungsstücken hängen Geschichten, das ist allgemein bekannt. Bei dem Herrenlabel „Ganesh“ sind jedoch bereits Geschichten an die Stoffe geknüpft. Der Grundsatz der Firma ist, den Männern Kleidung anzubieten, welche sofort bereit sind getragen zu werden. Beginnend mit zivilisiert-einfarbigen, blauen und braunen Jacken, steigert sich das Label bis ins unendlich dichte und chaotische Gewirr von indischen Mustern. Zunächst zeigen sich die Prints bloß an der Innenseite der Manschetten oder des Yokes. Doch nach und nach übermannen sie das ganze Kleidungsstück.
Das Selbe geschieht auch bei den Hosen. Zu beobachten ist dabei, dass praktisch zu jedem Hemd eine passende Hose entworfen wurde, was dem Mann ermöglicht, ein Ganzkörperkunstwerk als Kleidung zu tragen.
Neben den typisch indischen Mustern hat sich Ganesh auch amüsante T-Shirt-Drucke einfallen lassen. Auf einem ist eine typisch italienische Kaffeemaschine zu sehen, welche, durch das Ergänzen eines zweiten Henkels, vermenschlicht wird und schließlich aussieht wie ein Bodybuilder. Darunter steht „Italians do it better“.

Wenn man Ganesh betrachtet, können es die Italiener tatsächlich besser. Das Label präsentiert nicht bloß Herrenmode, welche endlich mal was anderes, spezielles bietet, sondern packt noch eine ganze Lebensphilosophie oben drauf. Welche Marke sonst, spricht von ihren Produkten wie von alt eingesessenen Freunden?

If garments had a voice, they would be great storytellers, this is a well-known fact. If you took a look at the men’s label Ganesh however, you would see immediately that it’s the fabric of the garments, which tells the stories. The priority of the enterprise is to offer their male costumers clothing, which is ready to be worn. Beginning with the civilized, plain-colored, blue and brown jackets, the awesomeness of the label climaxes, when entering a chaotic world full of Indian patterns. Initially, you can merely spot the prints inside the cuffs and the yokes. However, if you look closely, these patterns can dominate an entire garment.
This applies to the trousers as well. We didn’t fail to notice that every shirt has a compatible pair of pants, which enables the wearer to turn his outfit into an artwork covering his entire body.
Apart from the typically Indian prints, Ganesh also designed very amusing printed T-shirts. On one T-shirt you can see a typically Italian coffee machine, which is personalized via adding another handle. In the end, the coffee machine looks like a body builder. Under the machine, a caption which reads “Italians do it better.” conjures up a smile on your face.

If you consider Ganesh, you probably have to agree with what Ganesh’s message: Italians probably do it better. The label not only presents very special and extravagant men’s fashion, but transports their distinctive philosophy of life inside their clothing. Who else would refer to their products as good, old buddies apart from this special label?
