If you and your darling would like to spend some quality time together watching a movie in the nearest movie theatre, you should definitely consider going to the upcoming romantic comedy blockbuster Deadpool, a tragic and tear-jerking depiction of a man’s life defined by ups and downs, tragedy and the search for true love. Yeah, just kidding. Deadpool is anything but a movie about the live-love-laugh shit each and every boring love comedy seems to convey.
I’ll keep the summary short. The anti-hero Deadpool is a former elite mercenary who gets slapped right across the face by life when he finds out that he is about to die from cancer. He decides to commence a somewhat extraordinary cancer treatment that did seem to cure him from cancer. However, something went extremely wrong. The treatment cost him his mind and his human looks as countless tumors emerged on his face and body. In turn however he received supernatural abilities including incredible self-healing powers just like Wolverine. Indeed, he is not your ordinary knight in a shiny armor. But the anti-hero originating from the Marvel universe does have his very special obscene and vulgar charm which makes him a very popular hero among Marvel and DC fans. Although the splatter-riddled original comic series certainly is far from being a book about heroism and justice, the brutal and violent adventures of Deadpool always bring a smile upon the reader’s face.
This is what you can expect from the movie: bad and funny jokes, a lot of splatter, crazy stunts and a shit ton of obscene scenes. The perfect movie for Valentine’s day.
