Hello fellow beauty lovers.
I’ve been trying a lot of mascaras lately both high end and drugstore but I always seem to end up with one by Maybelline. Two of my holy grails have to be the Falsies mascara in the violet packaging by Maybelline and the Rocket mascara in the blue packaging from the same brand.
Today however, neither of them will feature because I have found a new toy to play with: The Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara Waterproof in the yellow packaging.
I have been using this mascara for roughly a month now and I still can’t grasp the fact that I only now have discovered this little gem. The finish this bad boy gives you is out of this world and not at all comparable to the ones I used before.
The thickness of the brush is the key. It makes your lashes appear much more dense and a tad longer. Volume clearly is the main aim of this product. I guess that’s also the reason why it doesn’t necessarily parts the lashes as well as for instance the Rocket mascara. But I for one am a huge fan of more thicker looking lashes, which you get by using this mascara. And because it’s a waterproof formula, it will hold the curl like a pro. If you know anything about me, you may guess that this really means game for me.

So if you find yourself strolling the aisles of your local drugstore, go ahead and try it out. I for one adore this little gem. It’s a clear HOT for me today.
