Hello fellow beauty lovers.
In the past months in which I’ve worked for Readthetrieb, I presented a multitude of MAC collaborations and collections but even I have to admit that those cannot be compared to the one I’m going to show to you today. MAC is known for collaborating with big names from the showbiz (Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kelly Osbourne etc.). The lady of the hour however, works quietly in the background and has created fantastic products for this new series. Marian Newman, a nail technician is no stranger to MAC. She already worked for the brand’s campaigns and shows.
Her “Transformation” series is the first one which will contain herown products. It includes 6 semi-sheer polishes, which are ought to “transform” the bare or polished nail. Besides incredible colors including pink, green and gold with pearly shimmer, she created two polishes to deepen and to highlight the manicure. She was inspired by the makeup we use on our face. If we use makeup to contour and to highlight our face, why not do that to our nails with special nail polishes as well?
It’s definitely something slightly different and I for one am extremely curious about those last two polishes. The shadow polish can create a dark hue on any polish according to MAC.
