Some time ago it became public that more tigers live in captivity in the United States than in freedom in their natural habitats. Several kinds of tigers are endangered and threatened with extinction. Some of them are eradicated already like the Java tiger and experts say that it won’t take a long time until the other ones will follow them if nothing is changed.

Although they are almost everywhere protected by law, humans still continue to destroy their habitat and poach them for their bones which are used for medical purposes in China. They are pushed to the very to the edges of their habitats, but even there are humans who poach them. Along the boundary of the rive Amur – between North Korea, Russia and China – extremely endangered Amur-tigers attack pets and humans. Due to that, there is a reason to hunt for them.
There is an estimated 450 individuals of the Amur tiger today, after they have almost been died out in the 40th.

If nothing changes, we will only be able to admire them in zoos or Las Vegas shows.
