The organizers of Fashion Week Lviv could not be stopped arranging a fantastic party despite the political tension in Ukraine. From May 07 to May 11, 12.000 fashion loving fans visited one of the biggest fashion events in Eastern Europe, presenting seasonal trends in the fall and spring season since 2008.
The search and promotion of young designers combined with popular labels result in high-quality fashion shows which truly impressed numerous visitors once more. Besides fashion shows, the FWL offered art events, exhibitions and some projects by fashion photographers of the „Fashion View“. This event was literally scattered all over in Lviv, hence you received the chance to take a look at the beauty of the European city.
Lidiya Yanitska, who is becoming more and more popular, presented an exquisite collection of dresses. Every creation is full of exclusive, handmade pearl embroideries and crystals by Swarovski. These fabulous dresses were created in order to preserve a timeless chic design which stands for elegance, freedom and uniqueness. The Ukrainian uses solely natural materials and the latest technology, ensuring the highest quality. Every woman who wears a dress by Lidiya Yanitska feels like a queen due to refined cuts.
The Polish designer Marta Wachholz enriched the Fashion Week with her latest collection. Her fall/winter collection appeals to modern women who are interested in exceptional art and aren’t afraid of brave decisions. She was inspired by a new artistic pop art movement and achieved a three-dimensional effect thanks to geometrical pattern. This show is a true highlight due to the huge color range and materials like velvet, leather or striking fur hats.
To conclude we can say that the Fashion Week Lviv was a big success despite the unrest in the country, hence visitors, even though some of them canceled because of riots, had the opportunity to dive in the world of glamour and fashion.
