The designer I’m going to introduce now is called Alejandra Quesada. As part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Mexico (start on April 1) Alejandra will present her new collection for fall and winter 2014/15. Her show will sound the bell for the end of the Fashion Week.

The experienced designer worked at Alexander McQueen after she had finished her studies at the Esmod in Paris. She also gained experiences in coordinating productions and in sales in several countries including the USA, Japan and China.

But don’t dare to think that you can easily  characterize the style of fashion she is going to present this time. Alejandra always manages to shape her seasonal topics independently from each other. And she always knows how to unify the innocent, girly aspects with the boyish, tough features of a woman in way which is full of contrasts.

This is how she once added the inimitable boyish character to her lines by using blouse collars, scarf bows around the neck and bow ties. This boyish touch met the easiness of the innocent white blouses. Her straight and high-necked cuts seemed to be inspired by chastisement and aloofness. But the summer collection 2014 was full of voluminous fabrics and tropical colors.

I’m happy to see that this designer underwent different stages, presenting different styles. But she has  never lost the clear and structured character in her collections.
