Vivienne, oh Vivienne. I think I speak for everyone when I say, Vivienne Westwood makes dreams come true. It doesn’t matter whether she lays her hands on, be it bridal couture, handbags, fragrances or jewelry – the woman can turn everything into gold.
Last night I was browsing through the online shop of Vivienne Westwood and found myself stuck in her jewelry department for what felt like hours. The whole range follows one theme: romance. Her signature emblem, the so called “Westwood Orb”, can be found on nearly every piece of jewelry. I fell particularly hard for the heart-shaped studs. Take the “Elisabeth Earrings” for instance, they carry the typical orb within and shine through the pale pink. What I also really liked were the “Mini Bas Relief Chokers”. Those “Chokers” are pearl necklaces with the “Westwood Orb” as a charm.
For those of you, who like to think outside of the box, please feel free to check out the “Snail Bracelet”. The snail looks incredibly real and is a symbol of the upcoming spring. Hm… I feel like I forgot something, oh yes, right, the rings! Lord knows I cannot go without a set of fine rings. For one there are the typical “Westwood” rings with her name on a golden or silver band. And on the other hand there are rings that are the slightest bit more edgy like the “Armour Ring Gunmetal”. This ring is basically 4 rings stacked on top of each other and covers subsequently the whole finger. The signature orb of course is included in the design, too.
So what I basically wanted to say: Check it out when you find the time. It’s definitely worth it 😉
