MAC came out with five different lip palettes (Pinks, Reds, Browns, Plums and Oranges) for their MAC PRO product lines. They contain mostly classics from their standard collections, which means that you can buy them in a regular lipstick form.
Each of the five palettes contains six different shades. The palettes are similar to the MAC PRO Palette Quads and feature a clear lid. You get 6gr of product all together, so strictly speaking 1/3 of a regular lipstick. Pricewise it’s not better than buying a full sized lipstick but with the palettes you get much more variety.
Unfortunately you can only get these in PRO Stores. But they recently released them online at maccosmetics.de. It retails for 41€ a piece.
I personally chose my palette in 6 preferred pinks. I have to admit that it wasn’t an easy choice but this bad boy featured Violetta AND Show Orchid, so consequently 2 PRO Shades and that ultimately made it.
Conclusively, IF you’re someone who rarely finishes a lipstick and prefers a broad range of shades to choose from in the morning, the palettes are really worth the price of 41€. Also, those palettes are made for makeup artists or people who travel a lot with their makeup just because they’re so incredibly handy.
So from my point of view it’s a clear HOT.
