Bernard Delettrez was born in Casablanca to a French father and a Moroccan mother. He grew up with the lovely scent of henna and curcuma from the kitchen. By the time he turned six his time as a far travelling individual began. His parents had their base in Paris from where the little family branched out to see all the hidden places in the world.

These impressions mark his work. They mark his collections almost as much as his signature skulls. You can see impressions from Indonesia in his recycled pink coral and you can see impressions from Kenya in its ebony wood.

The SEVEN collection impresses with incredibly outstanding rings. Take for instance the so called “Poison Ring” made out of bronze. It can be opened by a swiping motion. In an open position it reminds me of an emerald green eye in a golden frame. Another favorite of mine is a 3-finger ring made out of black gold. The ring holds 3 black diamonds – 3 gems that couldn’t look any better. It reminds me of a past time. I could imagine a young heroine wearing it whilst slaying down her enemies. A little bit more feminine is the “Circe Ring” with a pavé pyramid. I could imagine it being a very generous and exceptional engagement ring 😉
