The motto for the fall and winter collection 2013/14 consists of many contradictions at once! The most remarkable contrasts are the following: masculine against feminine, matte against shiny, formal angst relaxed. Lots of themes to choose from and lots of themes to unite. However, Sand fulfills all of the aspects needed to make great looking fashion and designs their collection with a mix of femininity, sportiness and fashion keenness. The range of colors focuses on wine red, nude, metallic, crème and black.
For the cuts in the fall and winter collection, the label especially wants to emphasize pencil skirts, short jackets with adornments and generally rather slim silhouettes for the pants, blouses and coats. I discovered a look which I find striking, it is a black mini skirt with straps worn with a blazer that has leather applications on the sleeves and on the lapel that becomes a large tie. Another look I like consist of a short blazer shimmering in a wine red shade with a stand up collar worn with a pair of black pants with a casual cut. This look is sporty, elegant and really fashionable! However, the look I liked the most is a black knee-length slim fit dress with shining sleeves and the white high-necked collar with it. The look is clean, minimalist and yet kind of playful with the shining sleeves and the shark collar. Sand’s women’s fashion really is my taste, because it is very fashionable and follows a clear line.
