“Bambusstrategie”, a book by Katharina Maehrlein just landed in the top 3 of the ten strongest titles in the GABAL business series.

“Die Bambusstrategie. Den täglichen Druck mit Resilienz meistern” (How to overcome pressure with resilience) shows us how to deal with pressure, conflicts and failures. It contains the latest results from resilience and happiness researches and aids in finding the way to one’s inner strength.

The book is now in the list of the Top 10 of ranking business books by GABAL. Author Katharina Maehrlein is more than proud to be in the ranking at all, let alone in amongst the top three. In an interview she said: “We all look up to those people, who are able to deal with pressure and failures more easily than we can. The challenge presents itself in growing after failing. This inner strength is called resilience. The good news? Resilience can be taught and developed in one’s mind. You can find tests to find out what you can do to reach that point of strength. Checklists, exercises and practical tips will guide you to a stronger self. The goal is to be as strong and independent as a bamboo plant to be able to face the storms of a particularly bad day.”

Walter Kohl, who will participate in the Soul@Work congress conducted by Maehrlein in Kloster Eberbach in March 10, 2014 describes the book in the following: “This book has its roots in an already lived through life. It is not based on theories but innovative ideas and practical tips. It never leaves you bored out. This will be your future companion full of smart, sometimes provocative and often funny information whenever you’re feeling down or when the pressure is just too heavy to bear. In my opinion it is a must-read!”
