Each collection is marked by its very own character. Alex Mattson has been constantly showing completely new facets of his talent twice a year since his final exam work in 2009. This time the designer brought up a very masculine collection for everyday life for the spring and summer 2014.
These creations give the wearer a confident appearance, as if he is a part of a gang. In this case maybe a part of a Columbian mafia or maybe a part of a gang in LA?
Don’t be afraid, these models do not look like junkies, au contraire! It’s the print, which leads you to a visual trip. It seems like individual cannabis leaves are layered on with different green or brown shades – truly an ocean full of leaves. The printed fabrics are mixed with grey mesh fabrics and emphasize an aggressive character. Using these, shirts, wide short and long pants are designed.
Alex Mattsson shows his trained eye for everything which stands out with all his collections. He always surprises with different facets of his very own person – this time he presents a stylish image reminding you of a warrior or maybe a drug baron.
