We have already given you a little peak into Tsumori Chisato’s style with her fall/winter collection 2013/14. Now, it’s spring and summer time! As you may already know, this label approaches the fashion world in a very playful manner. The prints which where used for fall and winter were quite childlike and innocent. Spring and summer change this character a little.
Now, the designs impress with their modest look. The designer’s heritage and origin were the inspiration for this collection. She uses her Japanese origins to recreate the Asian fashion traditions. The collection is defined by the kimono sleeves or the wide straps which highlight the waist area.
The colors that dominate are blues and reds as well as white and black. Especially the black creations embody a strong contrast to the former collection since they are embellished with a lot of lace which make them look elegant and chic. The designer loves animal prints and adds some dragonfly details which are worked in amazingly. They represent the designer’s signature.
Tsumori Chisato wants to create fun and enjoyable fashion for this season. Although the pieces aren’t colorful, they stand out with their crazy designs, cute maritime drawings and the dragonfly as a special detail.
