Ted Baker – wenn ich an Ted Baker denke, fallen mir sofort 3 Sachen ein: Schleifen, Glitterati und natürlich London. Als ich mein Auslandspraktikum in London gemacht habe, bin ich jeden Tag auf dem Weg zur Arbeit an Ted Baker vorbei gegangen. Und jeden Morgen ist mir die eine Schaufensterpuppe aufgefallen, die wohl die schönsten Pumps an hatte, die ich je gesehen habe.
Ich weiß nicht, ob es am Licht lag oder einfach daran, dass ich so verzweifelt nach einem perfekten Outfit für die Weihnachtsfeier der USC gesucht habe. Aber der Laden hatte einfach etwas an sich. Ich habe neulich erst einen Post über meine Lieblingsteile aus der Accessoire-Linie von Ted Baker verfasst – doch heute geht es um das, was ich als „guilty pleasures“ der Frauen bezeichnen würde: Schuhe. Schuhe sind wahrlich treue Freunde, egal ob Frau abnimmt oder – wie so oft – zunimmt, Schuhe passen immer. Sie lassen dich nicht im Regen stehen. Und wenn Ted Baker diese Schuhe auch noch designt, dann ist alle Hoffnung auf ein volles Portemonnaie verloren.
Ob Blockabsätze, Plateau oder einfache Ankle Boots, ich will sie alle! Sie sind etwas, was das Outfit nicht abrundet. Man baut das Outfit um die Schuhe herum auf! Egal ob Frau es eher blumig, glitzernd, bedruckt oder ledrig mag – Ted Baker hat sie alle.

Guys, when I think of Ted Baker I think of bows (naturally), glitterati and of course London. When I worked in London I had to pass a Ted Baker store every single morning. And every morning I had to pull myself from the displays because they had the most beautiful pumps I’d ever had the honor of laying my eyes on.
I don’t know if it was because of the lighting or the mere fact that I was desperate to find the perfect outfit for the Christmas Ball at USC but the shop had a spell on me. I recently posted a blog post on my favorite pieces from the accessories line but today, oh girl, today’s all about what I’d like to call the women’s “guilty pleasures”.
