The New York labelThe Blonds was founded in 2007 by David and Phillipe Blond. Originally, David comes from Florida and has the surname Trujillo, Phillipe was born in Puerto Rico, but grew up in New York and is actually called Phillipe Rolano.
The two are known for their fancy and shrill creations. Their collections are inspired by music, film and art. The outfits are mostly scarce and body-toned, nevertheless very glamorous. The show is by no means dull, because extravagant shapes, bright colors and lots of glitter are David’s and Phillipe’s trademark.
