The Hoia Baciu Forest is situated in Romania, near the city Cluj-Napo, which is the capital of Cluj. That’s a county located in Transylvania.

The forest is known for its interesting archaeological finds, such as tombs, farm houses and so on. People also believe that this place is haunted!

In the 1960s, people saw lights that could be associated only with UFOs. Unusual magnetic fields caused compasses and gauges to act up. But that’s not all. Occasionally, the laughter of children could be heard coming from the forest, along with screams, cries and similar eerie noises.

Light balls in blue and orange were known to float through the forest. Since then, scientists have attempted to find an explanation for this supposed phenomenon. Biologist Alexandru Sift examined photos that captured these paranormal events in the 1960s. After he died, most of these photographs disappeared. However, it gets even creepier.

According to rumors, there is a perfect drawn circle in the forest where no plant can grow on.

All of this makes the Hoia Baciu Forest a travel destination for many adventurers wanting to solve the mysteries of the woods. A forest full of malicious ghosts and antique barrows – surely nobody would pass on a chance to explore them.
