The clumpy lash look, we always tried to avoid, is now a huge trend on the runway. We are going back to the 60ies, where Twiggy showed us the ‘Doll Look’ from a completely different angle.
Designers like Prada or Gucci use false eyelashes or lash extensions on the top and bottom lashes of their models to add a dramatic effect to their eyes. And the best part about this look: it doesn’t even have to look perfect! The messy look is absolutely en vogue right now and is especially used for smokey eye looks.
For this look you don’t have to use false lashes, though. To create a more wearable version, you can also use mascara to push your lashes to their limit. For that it’s very important to apply your mascara coat after coat and to let it dry in between.
That way you get long and thick eye lashes, which look even more amazing, if you combine them with a natural and nude look, to make them stand out even more.
