When the United States of America claimed the moon they did it the old fashioned way and pressed their flag into its surface. But everything’s left of it is blanc as in crisp white. The reasons for this phenomenon are extreme conditions on the moon that bleached the flags off its colors. Conditions like 14 days of 100 degrees Celsius and a whole lot of sunshine followed by 14 days of complete darkness and mild -150 degrees Celsius plus unfiltered radiation and boom there you have your strongest bleach in the world. All that’s left are white flags. Who knows, in a couple of years people may think that the French were the first ones to land on the moon. 😉
