In July, the Berlin-based label IVANMAN presented its newest collection for summer 2014/15 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Visitors were highly excited and expected pleasantly its show right in the center of the city. This brand, which specializes in men’s and boys’ suits in the Haka style and everything that perfects the look, plays with a strong masculine expression.
Black, wine-red, brown and beige – a very classic array of colors dominates the current fall and winter collection for 2014/15. The cuts of this traditional look, however, are more interpreted in a modern and urban manner. Low-crotch pants become a refreshing highlight of this free time and business outfit. The top selection consists of many contemporary and innovative variations, as well.
An elegant touch of a complete outfit is for example achieved with the help of a buttoned coat. But I really like the bomber jacket since it interrupts the classic design. Aside from elaborated shirts, it’s mostly the oversized sweaters that jazz up the men’s ensemble once more. IVANMAN even achieves to update the turtleneck collar and to integrate it into its street wear design.
Distinctive seams, fishnet fabrics or peek-a-boos refine this significant style, which perfectly matches the modern man of a every age.
