Stefania Morland is one of the labels which present their new fashion within the frameworks of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekin Johannesburg from March 5th -7th. There, she presented her decadent vision for the fall and winter season, 2015. Well, fall and winter are still far away. Right now, we can finally see the first flowers bloom, fulfilling their function as ambassadors of spring. And this is why I would like to devote this article to the spring and summer collection 2015 of the brand Stefania Morland. The designer knows how to handle luscious colors. Thus, we were not surprised to discover a collection filled with different shades which were mostly blue, red and yellow nuances. Well, with these awesome colors, summer can finally come! If I look at the collection, I get figuratively seized by the vividness and joy of living this collection is conveying to the beholder. The line is defined by breezy, flowing cuts which add to the overall lively and nonchalant character. One element which can be spotted again and again is the bow. This stylistic device is particularly emphasizing the girly and playful side of the clothing line. Young, playful and characterized by a juvenile femininity – these attributes describe the collection best. For this reason, I can only imagine her creations worn by a woman who is simply in love with life. In my imagination, this beautiful woman is strolling along a lively street in Johannesburg making heads turn with her mesmerizing aura.
